Last month I had the pleasure of reading one Gail Carriger’s latest books and this month I was able to squeeze this one in.
As you might recall, I love her books because her world building is so rich and detailed with so many fun characters that stand out and that I want to read about!
This series has been a fun read and focuses on shifters and werewolves which normally aren’t really my fav but I love Carriger and she never disappoints! Continue reading “Review: The Enforcer Enigma (San Andreas Shifters #3) by Gail Carriger”→

As we approach fall, I always look forward to historical fiction. While historical fiction is released year round, it always seems that the most exciting historical fiction releases come out in the fall.
This latest release from Stephen P Kiernan promises lots to love and I am thrilled to be sharing a bit about this one with you all today.
Early reviewers have been raving about this one and I definitely have it on my TBR going into the fall. It’s on sale tomorrow so be sure not to miss it! Continue reading “Special Feature: Universe of Two by Stephen P. Kiernan”→

This year I have really been kicking it up a notch when it comes to reading more thrillers. I have a number of new thrillers lined up that I am looking forward to reading and this one sounds like it’s going to be fast paced and exciting.
Today I have an excerpt for you guys and if it sounds like something you might enjoy then you will want to pick up a copy now!
It’s been getting great reviews and sounds so twisty and fast paced that I’m afraid to read the excerpt because I know I am going to want to read it cover to cover! Continue reading “Special Feature and Excerpt: Lies Lies Lies by Adele Parks”→

This book was all over my Instagram and was a pretty hyped book when it was released back in April. Not to mention the cover is pretty memorable and eye catching right?
My murder mystery picked it as our July read and we were all eager to start it because it sounded like it held so much promise.
I went with the Audible edition because both narrators had soothing voices in the sample I tried and I will admit, the Audible edition is a great listen. I loved the narrators! But what about the story itself? Continue reading “Review: Pretty Things by Janelle Brown (Audible Edition)”→

At first glance, I almost passed on this book. It just didn’t stand out to me as unique when I was looking at the cover. Don’t get me wrong I love the colors in the cover, but it just seemed generic and I just didn’t find it that memorable.
But the summary convinced me otherwise. As soon as I read the summary I was eager to crack it open and get lost in a romantic story.
I liked to idea of the two characters falling in love and one of them having prophetic dreams, that combo sounded interesting and new. So needless to say it took little convincing for me to pick this one up! Continue reading “Review: The Sight of You (The Sight of You #1) by Holly Miller”→
